IMBRIE, DeLorma L., a Representative from Beaver, Butler and Lawrence Counties; born, March 4, 1824 in Columbiana County, Oh.; attended, Darlington Academy; teacher; lawyer (1853-1888); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1856 term; reelected to the House for 2 more subsequent terms; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1859-1862); editor, Beaver Argus (1863-1864); chief clerk, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1872-1873); clerk, Pennsylvania Auditor General’s Office (1881-1888); died, November 6, 1888 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
