PORTER, Thomas H., a Representative from Cambria County; born, September of 1817; engaged, lumber business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat for the 1859 term; unseated by contest, February 3, 1859; died, August 14, 1860 in Washington Township, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Aloysius Church Cemetery, Cresson, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
