WOLF, William Washington, a Representative from York County; born, February 24, 1816 in York County, Pa.; agent, Mount Wolf Station at North Central Railroad; proprietor, inn and tavern, Manchester Township, Pa.; grain, coal and lumber merchant, Adam Wolf & Sons (1852-1863); elected, justice of the peace; elected, commissioner, York County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1857 and 1858; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1859); elected, sheriff, York County (1863-1865); died, December 11, 1865 in York, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saginaw Cemetery, Manchester, York County, Pennsylvania.
