WILLIAMS, Hiram Augustus, a Representative from Bucks County; born, November 20, 1814 in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, Pa.; farmer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Whig in 1849; reelected to the House as a Republican in 1858; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1850, 1859); elected, school board, Tinicum Township; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1869, 1875); died, December 16, 1876 in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Milford Union Cemetery, Milford, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
