(1848-1852); auditor; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Brodheadsville, Pa. (1852-1865); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1859 term, reelected to the House for the 1860 and 1861 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1862 term; grocery merchant; elected, council, Stroudsburg (1878-1880); deputy treasurer, Monroe County (1878-1880); elected, associate judge, Monroe County (1880-1895); director, Stroudsburg Bank; died, January 28, 1913 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania; interred, Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
