WAGENSELLER, George, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, August 17, 1812 in West Pikeland Township, Chester County, Pa.; farmer; railroad supervisor; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1857 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1858 term; superintendent, Sunbury and Erie Railroad; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1873); died, December 15, 1873 in Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Peters Pikeland United Church of Christ Cemetery, Chester Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
