DUNLAP, Henry, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1813 in Washington DC; coach and carriage maker; member, 12th Ward Democratic Committee (president: 1857); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1858 term; reelected to the House for the 1860 and 1861 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1862 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1864); Inspector, United States Internal Revenue Department, Philadelphia; died, July 6, 1887 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mechanics Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
