BOYER, Dr. Thomas Jefferson, a Representative from Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson and McKean Counties; born, July 11, 1833 in Bernville, Clearfield County, Pa.; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1859 term; reelected to the House for the 1863, 1864 and 1865 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1860 or 1866 terms; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1875-1876); died, October 23, 1882 in Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
