BOYER, Michael Pellman, a Representative from Berks County; born, September 13, 1831 in Berks County, Pa.; first lieutenant, Company H, 128th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (Civil War, 1862-1863); attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1860; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1861); appointed, commissioner, United States Court of Claims (1867); died, August 29, 1867 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
