WOLF, Simon S., a Representative-elect from Centre County; born, circa 1835 in Pennsylvania; first lieutenant, Company A, 148th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1875 term; died prior to taking the oath, January 1, 1875 in Centre Hall, Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
