BANKS, Thaddeus, a Representative from Blair County; born, 1815 in Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pa.; attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1861; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1862); unsuccessful campaign for president judge, Blair County (1872); member, State Board of Agriculture (1870-1880); died, November 27, 1880 in Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred; Hollidaysburg Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
