TURNER, David MacAllister, a Representative from Bradford County; born in Towanda, Bradford County, Pa., May 17, 1917; attended, Lycoming College and the University of Virginia; served, "U.S.S. PCE-868," United States Navy (1944-1946, World War II); publisher, Towanda Daily Review (1951-1977); member, Bradford County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1973 and 1975 terms, appointed, Committee to Investigate the Administration of Justice (1973-1974); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1977 term; chief, Towanda Fire Department; president, Immokalee Child Care Center; died, September of 2012, Naples, Collier County, Florida.
