HUTCHMAN, William, a Representative from Allegheny County, born, circa 1826 in Pennsylvania; private, Company E, 63rd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1862, Civil War); farmer; unsuccessful campaign, justice of the peace, McCandless Township (1857); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1862 and 1863 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1864 term.
