KEISER, Daniel, a Representative from Dauphin County; born, November 17, 1820 in Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County, Pa.; commissary sergeant, Company D, 26th Regiment, Pennsylvania Emergency Militia (1863, Civil War); tanner; supplier, blasting powder; hotel proprietor, Lykens; farmer; proprietor, saw mill; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Union Republican in 1863 and as a Republican in 1864; died, February 4, 1877 in Wiconisco Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
