WELSH, Joseph Budd, a Representative from Beaver and Washington Counties; born, December 10, 1815 in Beallsville, Washington County, Pa.; attended, Jefferson College (now Washington and Jefferson College); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election, January 24, 1865; Sworn-In, February 6, 1865 to serve the remaining 1865 term; reelected to the House for the 1866 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1867 term; died, April 22, 1881 in Beallsville, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
