HEADMAN, Francis William, a Representative from Bucks County; born, September 14, 1821 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa; machinist; engineer, Pennsylvania Railroad Company (1841-1843); machinist and business partner, Roussel, mineral and soda water manufacturer (1843-1849); engaged, plumbing and gas fitting, Savannah, Ga. (1849-1861); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1864, 1865 and 1866; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1867); farmer; died, July 2, 1903 in Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
