WRIGHT, John Haslett, a Representative from Lycoming, Snyder and Union Counties; born, November 2, 1833 in Pennsylvania; sergeant, Company I, 126th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); lawyer; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Middleburg, Pa.; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1867 term; died while in office, October 5, 1867 in Middleburg, Snyder County, Pennsylvania; interred, Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
