MEYERS, Oliver Horatio, a Representative from Northampton County; born, August 21, 1827 in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pa.; graduated, Lafayette College, 1847; lawyer (1849-1874, 1884-1905); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1866 and 1867 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1868 term; elected, president judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Northampton County (1874-1884); died, March 30, 1907 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Easton Cemetery, Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
