DAY, Jonathan Raynor, a Representative from Beaver and Washington Counties; born, 1827; captain, Company K, 161st Regiment, 16th Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry (1862-1865, Civil War); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1867 and 1868 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1869 term; died, June 15, 1875 in Morris Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Concord Cemetery, Old Concord, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
