Dommick; sergeant, Company A, 19th Regiment, Pennsylvania Emergency Militia (1862, Civil War); lawyer (1858-1892); elected, District Attorney, Carbon County (1859-1866); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1866 term; reelected to the House for the 1867 and 1868 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1869 term; counsel, Lehigh Valley Railroad; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1879-1882); not a candidate for reelection to the Senate; elected, judge, 43rd judicial district, Monroe County (1893-1901); unsuccessful campaign for reelection as judge (1901); director, First National Bank, Mauch Chunk; died, December 31, 1902 in Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe), Carbon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mauch Chunk Cemetery, Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
