MEREDITH, Dr. Stephen Mendenhall, a Representative from Chester County; born, August 14, 1802 in Concord Township, Delaware County, Pa.; physician; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1867 and 1868; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1869); died, December 23, 1874 in Nantmeal Village, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Nantmeal Friends Burial Grounds, Glenmoore, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
