WALKER, John Henderson, a Representative from Franklin and Perry Counties; born, April 27, 1834 in Fannettsburg, Franklin County, Pa.; captain, Washington Blues Company, Pennsylvania Militia; captain, Company H, 126th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); Ranger Company, Department of the Susquehanna, United States War Department (1863-1864); tanner; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1868; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1869); contributor, Chambersburg Public Opinion; died, December 16, 1900 in Fannettsburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lower Path Valley Cemetery, Fannettsburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
