BREEN, Philip, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, 1818 in Ireland; coal miner; dry goods and grocery merchant; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1867 and 1869 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1868 or 1870 terms; died, May 15, 1892 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Stephens Cemetery, Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
