DiDONATO, Anthony, Jr., a Representative from Delaware and Philadelphia Counties; born in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY, January 11, 1911; attended, engineering, McCall School; served, United States Coast Guard; bricklayer; president and owner, Anthony DiDonato, Jr., Construction Company; vice president, Unico Village Home for Senior Citizens; director, Frank P. Johnson Building and Loan Association; member, advisory board, Fidelity Bank; leader, 26th Ward Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1975 term; appointed, Philadelphia Bicentennial Commission; not a successful candidate for reelection to the House for the 1977 term; died, May 10, 1989 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
