ESCHBACH, James, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, circa 1829 in Pennsylvania; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1867, 1868, and 1869; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1870); proprietor, Colonnade hotel, Pottstown; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1878); died, March 27, 1880 in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Amityville Cemetery (now Saint Paul’s Church Cemetery), Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
