Armstrong & Co., grocer (1861-1866); proprietor, drug store; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1870 term, not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1871 term; farmer; justice of the peace (10 years); elected, council, Smethport, Pa.; organizer, Smethport Water Company; managing director and treasurer, Smethport Gas Company; president, Grange National Bank, Smethport; died, August 9, 1916 in Smethport, McKean County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport, McKean County, Pennsylvania.
