ENGLISH, Edmund, a Representative from Clarion and Jefferson Counties; born, October 15, 1826 in County Limerick, Ireland; carpenter and joiner; owner and operator, foundry (1850-1900); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1871 term, not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1872 term; died, January 26, 1901 in Brookville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania; interred, Brookville Cemetery, Brookville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
