LEWIS, Tryon, a Representative from Delaware County; born, April 6, 1839 in Radnor, Delaware County, Pa.; farmer; miller; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1870; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1871); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senator (1873); died, October 29, 1923 in Paoli, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Newtown Square Friends Meeting House Burial Ground, Newtown Square, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
