ENGLE, Henry Myer, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, April 11, 1819 in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, Pa.; fruit farmer; president, Lancaster Horticulture Society; delegate, State Board of Agriculture; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1870; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1871); died, February 7, 1897 in Maytown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, East Donegal Cemetery, Maytown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
