BOILEAU, Samuel, a Representative from Northampton County; born, May 29, 1821 in Tinicum, Bucks County, Pa.; merchant; lumber dealer; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Kintnersville, Pa. (1847-1849); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1870 and 1871 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1872 term; president, Phillipsburg National Bank; died, January 8, 1908 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Easton Cemetery, Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
