ENGLEMAN, Dr. David, a Representative from Northampton County; born, December 30, 1835 in Bath, Northampton County, Pa.; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1864; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1870 and 1871 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1872 term; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1877-1878); president, Pennsylvania State Board of Health; elected, council, Easton; president, Northampton County Medical Society; died, May 14, 1913 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union West End Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
