WISHART, Samuel, a Representative from Bedford, Fulton, and Somerset Counties; born, April 13, 1835; second lieutenant, Company M, 181st Regiment, 20th Pennsylvania Calvary (1863, Civil War); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1870; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1871); died, January 13, 1913 in Everett, Bedford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Everett Cemetery, Everett, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
