William H., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, June 27, 1837 in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pa.; private, Company I, 107th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); farmer; minister, United Brethren Church (1856-1863, 1871-1903); elected, justice of the peace, Pine Grove Township (1856-1866); merchant (1863-1870); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1872 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1873 term; died, June 12, 1903 in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
