GUSS, Wallace, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, January 28, 1843 in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, Pa.; captain, 8th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard; school teacher; clerk, provost Marshall’s office (1863-1864); teller, First National Bank; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1872 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1873 term; assistant cashier; secretary and treasurer, Pennsylvania State Bankers’ Association; died, March 6, 1903 in the city of  Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
