WOOLEVER, Adam, a Representative from Lehigh County; born, March 7, 1833 in Franklin County, NJ; apprentice, mercantile business; lawyer; solicitor, Sheriff’s department, Lehigh County (1859-1862); elected, District Attorney, Lehigh County (1863-1865); proprietor, Coplay Cement Works; United States Patent holder, Converting Cast Iron Into Wrought Iron and Steel (1868); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1870 term, reelected to the House for the 1871 and 1872 terms; elected, Chief Clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1875-1877); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1877); died, September 24, 1882 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
