MILLER, Sheila M., a Representative from Berks County; born, May 12, 1952 in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pa.; graduated, Lower Dauphin High School, 1970; B.S., agriculture, The Pennsylvania State University, 1974; district conservationist, United States Department of Agriculture (1974-1979); owner and operator, Deitschland Farm (1979-present); newspaper editor, Lancaster Farming (1979-1983); member, Berks County Republican Women; executive director, Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee, Republican Caucus, Pennsylvania State Senate (1983-1992); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1993 term; reelected to serve 6 more consecutive terms; appointed, board, Center for Rural Pennsylvania (1993-2006, chair, 1997-2006); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2006); agricultural coordinator, Berks County (2007-2014).
