Beach and Sons Tannery; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Milanville, Pa. (1861); engaged, lumber business; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1872 term, reelected for the 1873 term; farmer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania Secretary of Internal Affairs (1878); president, Wayne County Agricultural Society; director, Wayne County Savings Bank; co-owner, Nichols, Beach & Co., cattle dealers, Nebraska; engaged, Cochecton Bridge Company; died, June 21, 1896 in Milanville, Wayne County, Pennsylvania.
