JONES, Henry M., a Representative from Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties; born, May 24, 1830 in Harford Township, Susquehanna County, Pa.; attended, Harford Academy; teacher; farmer; proprietor, general merchandise store; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1873 and 1874 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1875 term; justice of the peace; died, September 9, 1879 in Harford, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Harford Cemetery, Harford, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.
