DIMMICK, William H., a Representative from Pike and Wayne Counties; born, March 19, 1841 in Milford, Pike County, Pa.; graduated, institute at Claverack-on-Hudson; studied law, William Harrison and Samuel E. Dimmick; lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Wayne County (1864-1870); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1870 term; reelected to the House for the 1874 term; resigned from the House, February 23, 1874; died, November 3, 1915 in Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Glen Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania.
