PYLE, Robert Coleman, a Representative from Northampton County; born, August 6, 1822 in Pennsylvania; tailor; proprietor, Pyle’s Easton Hall of Fashion, clothing store; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1873 and 1874 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1875 term; candidate, Pennsylvania State Senator (1878, withdrew); died, April 25, 1909 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Easton Cemetery, Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
