(1864); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1873 and 1874 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1875 term; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Trade City, Pa. (1879); clerk, auditor’s office, United States Department of the Treasury (1881-1885, 1897-1899); real estate business; died, December 25, 1899 in Washington, District of Columbia; interred, Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, District of Columbia.
