OLIVER, Moses Warren, Jr., a Representative from Crawford County; born, June 8, 1833 in South Dansville, Livingston County, NY; captain, Company B, 145th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War; prisoner of war, Libby, 1863); teacher; principal; farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1872 and 1873; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1874); appointed, Pennsylvania State Board of Agriculture; engaged, mercantile business; died, February 4, 1906 in Conneautville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Spring Cemetery, Springboro, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
