YOUNG, Andrew Bail, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Allegheny County, Pa., June 5, 1830; private, Company F, 78th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1865, Civil War); clerk; farmer (1870-1880); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1873 and 1874 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1875 term; deputy sheriff, Allegheny County; clerk, Scobie & Parker, general merchants; assistant superintendent, Morganza reform school; died, January 24, 1901 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
