WILLIAMS, Martin, a Representative from Clarion and Forest Counties; born c. 1826 in Bedford County, Pa.; engaged, mercantile business; engaged, lumber and construction business; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1874, 1875 and 1876 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1877 term; superintendent, American House, construction firm, Pittsburgh (1876); died, January 8, 1899 in New Bethlehem, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
