TRACY, Elijah Gorham, a Representative from Bradford County; born, May 30, 1825 in Smithfield, Bradford County, Pa.; attended, Genesee Wesleyan Seminary, NY; attended, University of Pennsylvania, 1853-1855; physician; postmaster, United States Postal Service, East Smithfield, Pa. (1861-1867); engaged, oil business; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1874 and 1875; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1876); elected, school director, Sylvania (1888); died, August 30, 1910 in Sylvania, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sylvania Cemetery, Sylvania, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
