STURTEVANT, Ritner Hall, a Representative from Crawford County; born, September 26, 1832 in Springboro Township, Crawford County, Pa.; school teacher (4 years); justice of the peace (5 years); assistant assessor, Internal Revenue Service, 12th District of Pennsylvania (1869-1870); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1875 and 1876 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1877 term; died, April 17, 1919 in Spring, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Spring Cemetery, Spring, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
