(1890-1895); elected, judge, 6th judicial district, Nebraska (1899-1915); elected, chief justice, Nebraska Supreme Court (1915); died, January 21, 1915 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska; interred, Ridge Cemetery, Fremont, Dodge County, Nebraska.
