ENDSLEY, William, a Representative from Somerset County; born, June 11, 1821 in Maryland; farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1875 and 1876 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1877 term; proprietor, Endsley House, summer resort; superintendent, Cumberland-Wheeling Pike (1879-1882); elected, burgess, Somerfield, Pa.; died, August 26, 1901 in Somerfield, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Addison Cemetery, Addison, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
