ELDRED, Edwin B., a Representative from Cameron, Clinton, McKean and Pike Counties; born, September 28, 1820 in Milford, Pike County, Pa.; engaged in lumbering; lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Pike County (1850); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1866 term; reelected to serve the 1874 and 1875 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1876 term; elected, auditor, Milford (1879-1881); died, February 23, 1892 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota.
