WILL, Allen Scott, a Representative from Somerset County; born, March 4, 1828 in Somerset County, Pa.; major, 1st Battalion, Pennsylvania Militia (1849-1859); gold miner (1 year); farmer; school director (12 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1877 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); died, October 29, 1886 in New Lexington, Somerset County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union Cemetery, New Centerville, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
